This was a savvy business move for the credit card giant and customer approval ratings have always been high.
Co-Branded American Express Offers
American Express jumped on the co-branding bandwagon some time ago with good results. Currently, it’s teamed with Starwood Hotel chain for its business cards and Delta Airlines to offer consumers great offers. The Starwood Hotel American Express offers business owners major points that can be used in the hotel chain. In fact, your first purchase earns 10,000 “Starpoints” which is good for a free night. Your points can be redeemed at more than 1,000 hotels and resorts found in more than 100 countries. Further, your points can also be used on more than 350 airlines with no blackout dates.
The Delta Reserve Credit Card from American Express is ideal for travelers. Card users earn 10,000 medallion qualification miles with their first purchase and you’ll also enjoy an annual free first-class companion ticket each year you renew your card. Other perks include access to the Delta Sky Club and free first bag checks. If there’s any downside to this offer, it’s the $450 annual fee.
Jet Blue has also partnered with American Express with great success. This business credit card allows you to earn one TrueBlue point for every dollar you spend and you can quickly begin redeeming your points for round trips starting at only 10,000 points. It’s a model that works well with many small businesses. You also have the flexibility to pay over time with this offer as well. There’s a $40 annual fee associated with the JetBlue business card, but business owners say it’s a small price to pay for the many perks that come with it.
